Temple Tree comprises two storey individual cottages, finished in hand-cut stone and featuring beautifully-decorated timber struts and pillars.

Each room has a private balcony with pergola looking on to a lush garden centered on an ancient tree formed from three interlocking trunks. This tree is believed to be inhabited by local deities and continues to be ritually offered flowers and perfumes to this day.

Temple Tree Resort & Spa is ideally located in the heart of Lakeside, just a short walk from Phewa Lake, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from the resort grounds.

We are a short stroll from specialty restaurants, fine handicraft and trekking equipment shops, Mountain bikes or boat rentals and convenience stores. Major banking facilities including ATMs are also within easy reach.

The resort is ideally located right at the centre of the Lakeside in an area called Gaurighat, the only stretch of the Lakeside enjoying a full view of the lake as well as the Himalayas.
